In between sailing down through the Chesapeake Bay and keeping up with school, a lot of exiting things have happend in the past 2 months. I have seen just about every site that there is to see in DC. I love the history of Washington DC. One of my favorite things that I got to do in DC was probably watching how the House of Representives and the Senate work. I dont know why, but I get really interested in that type of stuff. This is completely unlike my sister who keeps asking, "Can we go now?". I got to see an ACDC concert that was amazing. I didnt get the opportunity to see my favorite band back at Tampa, so when I found out that they were going to be here in DC while I was here, I bought the tickets. Sailing so far has been great. We sailed down the Bay and then up the Potomac to stay here in DC for a while. That was of course the biggest and main part of the trip. It's not fun to be stuck in the city, but to sail and see new places. This is exactly what the family is thinking now. Since we have for the most part seen everything there is to see in DC, then we are planning to continue down the ICW to make it to Florida by Christmas. I think we are planning to meet some the family in North Carolina for Thanksgiving, so that we can be together. That would be nice. I do miss my family and friends, but then on the other side of the arguement on whether we should have done this trip or not, I probably wouldn,t get the opportunity to do this again. Anyway, I look forward to continuing our trip and making it to Florida again and then to the Islands.
PS - Happy Halloween! Im not doing anything for Halloween this year but Angelica is going with my dad to Trick Or Treat in some neighborhood nearby. They are walking because we just sold our car today.
